Dr. Lucas L. Nelson, D.C

Dr. Lucas Nelson completed his undergraduate degree in 2009 at the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. He then went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2012. While at Palmer College, Dr. Nelson was granted the opportunity to be a member of the Vogt Leadership Society, and he was Valedictorian of his graduating class.

Dr. Lucas Nelson grew up in St. Ansgar. There, he met his wife, Deneen. They have been married since December of 2010, and together they have three children: Gram, Genevieve, and Garrett. Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports, biking, fishing, and any outdoor activities.

A Message from the Doctor:

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to return to north Iowa and serve the community in which I grew up. I am dedicated to helping others achieve their optimal health and wellness goals.

Heidi Perrin

Meet Heidi Perrin, our Office Manager, who joined our team in August of 2025. She brings 25 plus years of hard work and experience to her role, and we are happy to have her! You'll typically see her right up front as you walk through the doors for your chiropractic care, all while she manages behind the scenes for us. Heidi values her family more than anything and spends as much of her free time as she can with them. She has four children, three grandchildren, and some fur grandkids who are all her absolute pride and joy. You can catch her gardening and canning all summer/fall long, or outdoors enjoying nature and sunshine during the nicer Iowa months.

Barb Berge

Barb Berge is our Front Desk Assistant. She has worked at our office since 2018.
