Dr. Lucas L. Nelson, D.C.
Dr. Lucas Nelson completed his undergraduate degree in 2009 at the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. He then went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2012. While at Palmer College, Dr. Nelson was granted the opportunity to be a member of the Vogt Leadership Society, and he was Valedictorian of his graduating class. He is a current member and a District Director of the North Central District of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS). Dr. Lucas Nelson grew up in St. Ansgar. He and his wife, Deneen, have been married since December of 2010, and they have three children: Gram, Genevieve, and Garrett. Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports, biking, fishing, and basically any activities in which he can be outdoors.
A Message from the Doctor:
I feel privileged to have the opportunity to return to north Iowa and serve the community in which I grew up. I am dedicated to helping others achieve their optimal health and wellness goals.

Julia Crail
Julia Crail is our Front Desk Manager. She has worked in the chiropractic field since 2008. Julia lives in St. Ansgar with her husband, Chuck. They have five grown children and six grandchildren. Julia enjoys spending time with her grandkids and working on their family apple orchard, Otter Creek Orchard, in Mona, Iowa. Barb Berge Barb Berge is another member of our Front Desk Office team. She began working in our office in 2018. Barb lives in Kensett with her husband, Mike.
