What should I expect if I become a patient?

• Simple. Expect to be healthier.

• We have taken what is usually an intimidating environment and made it a patient-friendly experience that allows you, the patient, to be an active participant in your health care.

• As our patient, you can expect to be given choices, not orders. Our job is to teach you how to obtain your greatest health potential and then assist you along the journey by providing the highest quality, most comfortable, and most results-producing care possible.

What to Expect Upon Arrival:

• Upon entering St. Ansgar Chiropractic, you will be greated and welcomed by our Front Desk Manager.

• If you are a first-time patient, you will be asked to complete some paperwork before meeting with Dr. Lucas Nelson for a consultation. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow adequate time for you to complete your paperwork before your appointment. If you wish to complete the paperwork prior to your arrival, you may print and fill out the attached documents below.

• During the consultation, you and Dr. Nelson will discuss your individual health-related concerns as well as potential treatment options.

• After your consultation, Dr. Nelson will conduct a thorough examination of your spine and its ability to move and bend appropriately. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

• X-rays may be necessary for Dr. Nelson to fully examine your spine. If this is the case, he will work with you to arrange a time for you to obtain the x-rays.

• After the examination, you and Dr. Nelson will discuss the findings, recommendations, and potential treatment options. As always, the treatment is interactive, allowing you to express any opinions or concerns that you may have with the treatment process.
